Help shape Washington's education future

This is a big deal. Congress passed legislation with strong bipartisan support to replace No Child Left Behind with the Every Student Succeeds Act. Each state has to create a plan to address how they will implement the new law. I was fortunate to be able to work with hundreds of talented and dedicated people to help create the draft plan for Washington State. It is available now on the OSPI website. Public comment has been extended to February 15, 2017. Take a look at the summary document or the full plan and provide any feedback you have. Fun fact: 1 in 7 people in Washington State are students in the K-12 public school system.
