Golfing for a good cause

Updated: Mar 4, 2020

Deb, Narty, and Frances golfing for Relevant Strategies.

A couple of weeks ago, I got a chance to support a great organization in South Seattle -- SouthEast Effective Development -- by participating in a fun golf tournament. Relevant Strategies was a silver sponsor and we got to bring a foursome to participate at Jefferson Golf Course. Our team did well and we loved the opportunity to be a part of something important in our community.

Lance Randall sent me a nice note today:

Thank you so much for being a Silver Sponsor for the 5th Annual Southeast Effective Development (SEED) Golf Tournament. The event turned out to be a wonderful success. Because of your participation, we were able to raise over $30,000 for SEED’s Economic Development Division. All of the proceeds will be used to serve the diverse and often marginalized populations of Southeast Seattle, by creating economic opportunities to improve the quality of life for the citizens in the area. We will continue to provide opportunities by creating jobs through business recruiting, retention and expansion, technical assistance and workforce development which is key to sustaining the viability of the community. We really appreciate your willing to help us continue this important work.

Thank you Lance, for the work you and your colleagues do in partnership with the people of southeast Seattle. Congratulations on a successful tournament!
