Kerry White, CPA, MBA, is the Managing Director of Relevant Strategies. She is a former chief financial officer, chief operating officer, assistant chief investment officer, principal over reporting, performance and data analytics, and adjunct professor, with more than 25 years of experience spanning auditing, investment management accounting, and nonprofit finance — including operations and compliance for a $47 billion-plus public pension fund. Her current superpower is bringing that institutional-grade financial expertise and discipline to nonprofits, then explaining it in plain terms that their boards and volunteers can actually act on. That blend of technical depth and clear communication is just right for CFO advisory, financial reviews, internal controls and accounting system implementations, and budgeting and financial reporting. She is a member of the AICPA, ASCPA, WSCPA, and CalCPA, and a graduate of the ASU Lodestar NEXT Non-Profit Leadership Program. She also serves her community as Treasurer of the Phoenix Metro Bicycle Club and is a past President of the Arizona Bicycle Club.
Porsche Everson, MBA is the Founder of Relevant Strategies. She is a former educator, software development executive, scientific researcher, project manager, systems administrator, and data analyst. Her current superpower is providing guidance, facilitation and support to organizations engaged in complex, risky projects that require a high degree of stakeholder involvement. Her combination of technical and people skills are just right for advising on technology projects, change initiatives, quality oversight and business process analysis. She is an expert in governance, serves on several corporate and non-profit boards, and is certified as an NACD Governance Fellow.
